Simulator
See the whole cost before you ask for anything
Move the amount and the term, and watch the total move with them. The figure that matters is not the instalment — it is what you repay in the end.
Run a simulation
Choose what the money is for: each project carries its own sensible range, because a personal loan and a property purchase are not the same decision.

What the numbers actually tell you
The instalment answers one question: can I pay this every month? The total answers a different and more important one: what does this cost me in the end? Lengthening the term always improves the first answer and always worsens the second.
The cost of credit shown is the difference between what you receive and what you repay. It grows with the term even when the rate does not change, which is why a longer loan for a short-lived purchase is usually a bad trade.
What this simulation does not include
- Arrangement, file or valuation fees, where any apply.
- Optional or required insurance premiums.
- Any variation in rate, since the calculation assumes a fixed rate throughout.
- The result of an affordability and creditworthiness assessment.
- Taxes or duties applicable in your country of residence.
Because of those exclusions, the figure here is not an APR. The APR is the number normally used to compare offers, and it will appear in your pre-contractual information.

Carry these figures into an application. It takes a few minutes and commits you to nothing.
